Sketching along the canals of Birmingham
Pencil, pen, watercolour
A5

Today I went on a course run by the RBSA and taught by artist, Wayne Attwood. We walked along the canals, stopping to draw as we went. I saw lots that I’d like to back and draw in the future. There’s a lot of machinery to look at and try to understand that makes drawing the canal very challenging. The atmosphere was lovely – boats going along, people and their dogs, and we were very lucky with the weather.

I wish I had known. I would have loved to have joined that course.

Yes, I should know not to use the phone to write/read blogs….. writing is okay because you can edit, but commenting is a different story. I felt like….well you know.
