Oh, thanks, Nicky, I’m still trying to complete the photos – that’s why there’s a run of titles with no pictures in the middle!
Love the variety in your work. How do you apply your inks?
I use oil based inks and apply them using scrim usually, on some plates in very careful patches or with colours merging. In others I have two plates that ink up in different colours and print on top of each other. Often it’s all quite accidental!
Well these were a long time ago but so good to see your printmaking and collagraph work. Do you still work with collagraph. I have used environmount and etching tools a la Charles Shearer in the past.
Yes, I’m still doing collagraphs, on mountboard. I went on a Charles Shearer course at Leicester Print Workshop and got some environmount, but I haven’t used it much – it feels like I need to learn how it works and have a play with it.
