I really like this drawing, lovely lines, and also a great concept drawing in 3D and drawing your drawing.
I look forward to seeing your drawing every day, – even if it does make me feel guilty that I’m not doing the same…

    • Thanks, it’s the first time I’ve done anything like it – I must carry on! Thanks for looking every day – don’t feel guilty though,

    • I was just looking at your ongoing drawing – have you been drawing the same drawing for 50 hours?

Hi, yes, this was a module for our MA programme, to concentrate on one drawing for 50 hours. As you can see mine is nowhere what you would call a ‘finished’ drawing, but I did start with a huge great bit of paper…
It seemed very hard to start with, 50 hours feels such a long time that you think that you’re never going to finish, but once the half way point was reached, time just seemed to fizzle away.
I really enjoyed it, but perhaps that’s the human defence mechanism kicking in, – like having a baby, you forget the pain once it’s over!
We’re moving onto developing sketchbooks on categories of human experience now, so hopefully I’ll have more to post.
