I’ve proofed these collagraphs to see how they look and that’s led me to redraw them to allow me to put right some things I’m not happy with. That’s the beauty of using card and glue to make plates – so easy to make changes and improvements.

When I returned two days later there was less of the tree left to draw – shame as I wanted to draw the flowing and sprawled leaves against the trunk and logs.

As always life drawing with London Drawing was an intense and creative experience. This time it was in the cellars of St Pancras Church, exploring surreal scenes by candlelight, bubbles and with accompanying music.
