    A note of thanks: I have a friend I have been writing to since we were both in our teens. I’m now 44. She and I exchange gifts for birthdays and holidays. Reading your posts, I’ve decided to make a sketchbook of things I encounter so she can have a personal keepsake. No hope that it will be stellar. It will, though, be a work of care.
