Hartland Quay

Pencil and watercolour

20 x 20cm

The geology of the land is so visible at Hartland Quay – it’s quite amazing! It’s quite hard to know where to start to draw as there is so much to see and the structures and patterns are so unfamiliar. The weather was perfect – despite a poor outlook in the morning by the afternoon it was bright blue and sunny and a very clear view.

  1. I love the wonderful slabs of rock at Hartland. You have captured this in your lovely watercolour!
